My name is Leslie Jackson, I am the founder and designer for Shout Out Wear.<\/p>
I will start with why I created Shout Out Wear. I suffer with Anxiety and in particular Social Anxiety, and I find it hard to speak out and express opinions or just make my presence felt in groups of people. Let alone in crowds, or out and about in public etc.<\/p>
I found a unique way to help with this when I want to express an opinion or promote a cause special to me. It was to design a t-shirt, vest or hoodie with what I want to say on it and order it from a custom printing company, and wear it out and about, as they are often good conversation starters.<\/p>
I like designing stuff, and it gives me tremendous self-confidence when I manage to design something I really like, and I can wear it with confidence out and about, and at the same time get an important message out there.<\/p>
Designing a product is extremely time-consuming and can be hard to navigate around the design templates of multiple companies who offer this type of service, and don't get me started on how many times you forget to 'click' save, and lose all your hard work!<\/p>
So I figured why not set my own page up on one of the best sites out there. Also ensuring that they aligned with my vegan and environmental ethics, and then start to design products that I feel is relevant and often contain messages that need saying out loud, or even just designs that look good. Then hopefully sell them to like-minded members of the public and raise money for charities too as I go.<\/p>
Each item generates a small profit and I donate any profit as I go to selected charities. Each donation goes to a charity cause related to the subject of each product, where applicable.<\/p>
I pay for any advertising myself, as my contribution, along with a lot of my spare time to enable this venture to hopefully grow, and raise some decent money for charities along the way.<\/p>
